Satan Is In Your Music

Satan and music. Inseparable. When Lucifer (Satan) was created, the Bible says in Ezekiel 28:12 and on: Thus says the Lord God:“You were the seal of perfection,Full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.13 You were in Eden, the garden of God;Every precious stone was your covering:The sardius, topaz, and diamond,Beryl, onyx, and jasper, Sapphire, turquoise, and emerald with gold. The workmanship of your timbrels and pipes was prepared for you on the day you were created. 14 “You were the anointed cherub who covers; I established you;You were on the holy mountain of God;You walked back and forth in the midst of fiery stones.15 You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, till iniquity was found in you.16 “By the abundance of your trading You became filled with violence within,And you sinned; Therefore I cast you as a profane thing Out of the mountain of God;And I destroyed you, O covering cherub,From the midst of the fiery stones.17 “Your heart was lifted up because of your beauty; You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor;I cast you to the ground.(NKJV) Instruments were incorporated into the existence of Lucifer's creation. He is familiar with music. His influence stems from the instruments, which were attached to his being and the evil and revengeful heart which drives him to expand his reign here on earth. It's about influence and his weapon is music. He ministers death through music. Many young people listen to music, which is heavily influenced by him. Before, many people would say it was only the heavy metal music or Rock. Now it's in all the music industry. Check out this video I made using clips from other YouTube videos. http://youtu.be/ZRLK5TPzeV4 Tell me what you think...Let's hear your voice. How does music influence people, and how does it influence your generation?

The Evidence of Christ in You

Paul Gustave Dore was a well known French artist and sculptor. He was traveling through Europe and had lost his passport.
At one border crossing the authorities stopped him from entering. He stated who he was and the officers explained how many people have come through, saying they were someone, they were not. At the persistence of Mr. Dore, one of the officers handed him a piece of paper and a writing utensil and asked him to draw a group of people standing nearby. Paul Gustave Dore went to work and skillfully and quickly was able to draw a magnificent sketch. They allowed him through. Sometimes in our lives words is really not enough. A rebellious child who says he won't do it again, a husband who promises he won't cheat again, a friend who tells you he won't talk about you again behind your back. People do not need words, they need action, evidence of the truth. Spiritually, we need to show we are truly Christian and the evidences that the blood of Jesus is on our lives and his Holy Spirit is in us. Show the world that you are not just a loud Christian, show them you are a devout Christian with evidence of God in you. How can you better show Christ in your life to others? How can you better practice what you preach?

Breaking Your Alabaster Flask

Worship. The alabaster flask or box. No way to extract the perfume from the flask if not by breaking it.
Matthew 26:6 And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, 7 a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. 8 But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste? 9 For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor.” 10 But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, “Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me. 11 For you have the poor with you always, but Me you do not have always. 12 For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My burial. 13 Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.”Breaking the flask, the perfume bottle was the only way to release the contents. After she broke the flask, she worshiped him and anointed his head. The first part is coming to where he is. Second is what is in your hands, in her case she brought her life in a bottle. It's about being broken before him in total worship. Brokenness is a state or condition where we submit, our will, to His will without any resistance. No arguing, no fighting with him and no questioning his Holy Spirit. Allowing his will to be done, not our own. As humans with a sinful nature, we have been given a free will and through the influence of sin, we tend to resist anything but our own will. And when we come to him willing to give it all, we have to be broken and contrite, mold-able and willing to let him work in us. Our lives become a sacrifice of living worship towards our Lord and Savior, Jesus. Be broken and use your perfume to anoint the Master's head. Broken is how we can best worship him. What has broken meant, personally, in your life? What broke you? Let your voice be heard.

God is going to surprise you this year

"God is going to surprise you this year," stated my senior pastor, Pastor Rocky. He surprised the Shunammite lady in 2 Kings 4:12-17 when the prophet Elisha prophesied she was going to have a baby... surprise! I personally don't like surprises, but as I was meditating on this, I came to the conclusion that I love God's surprises. He can bless us at an unexpected time, with an unexpected thing, at the right time. You see a frail old lady with a heart condition, standing next to a window would probably die of a heart attack and fall to her death if you decided to surprise her at that time...lol. "Bam!" but when you are struggling and you are hoping against hope in your situation and everything around you seems impossible to overcome then "Bam!" God drops a Surprise blessing on you, you rejoice with tears of joy and just glorify God because at the right time he blessed you with what you asked for and what you needed. Now, I am living with an expectancy and just knowing that my God, my Father in heaven is looking out for me and his love for me is irrevocable, incomparable and unconditional. And if you just wait in him, this year 2013, will be a year of surprises, just you wait and see!God is going to surprise you this year!

From His hands to yours

My Pastor brought out an amazing point, in between, an awesome message last night. He spoke about how God does not want us to idolize or depend solely on the blessing. We should worship and depend on the giver of the blessings. He also expressed that the people of Israel while enslaved in Egypt, were getting their basic needs met, by God, through the hands of the Pharaoh. When he liberated them through Moses, he took them into the desert and met their needs with his own hands through the manna from heaven. After they crossed the Jordan River and into the promise land, God now stopped the manna and blessed them through their own hands. Now they had to work with their own hands to get their blessings. This shows an increase in maturity and dependency on God. A process of maturing is how God personally teaches and guides us into receiving and partaking in blessings. Where are you today in relation to blessings? Are you in a difficult situation and getting your needs met by an uncomfortable source? Are you receiving provision from above, totally dependent on him caring and providing for your needs? Or, are you understanding God has equipped you with the maturity and resources necessary to pull blessings your way? Lets hear your voice!

Consider your ways in 2013

Haggai 1:7,8 7 Thus says the LORD of hosts: “Consider your ways! 8 Go up to the mountains and bring wood and build the temple, that I may take pleasure in it and be glorified,” says the LORD. New year and I am back after being quiet for like 2 years on the bloggosphere. Well, with the new year comes our congregational fast, the Daniel's Fast. 21 days of prayer and fasting. Last Friday I shared 7 points to follow for this year and here they are: 1. LETS FOCUS LESS ON OURSELVES AND FOCUS ON THE NEEDS OF OTHERS 2. ADMIT OUR MISTAKES AND MEET OTHERS WHERE THEY ARE AT 3. LETS WALK MORE BY FAITH AND LESS BY SIGHT 4. LETS RELY LESS ON OUR OWN STRENGTH AND TO TRUST GOD 5. LETS LIVE LIKE OUR LIVES DON’T BELONG TO US, BUT TO JESUS 6. LETS GIVE GENEROUSLY AND PURPOSELY TO TITHES, OFFERINGS AND MISSIONS. 7. LETS DO 3 GREAT THINGS FOR GOD THIS YEAR: WRITE THEM DOWN THROUGH THE FAST, SET DATES AND STEP IN FAITH. Let's make this year count and let's start it off with seeking God as our number one priority as to set the tone or the pace for the rest of the year.
